Covid-19 Pandemic and Its Effects on Dentistry: A Retrospective Study

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare patient admissions, treatment needs, and treatments in our hospital before after the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: patients who presented Karabük Oral Dental Health Training Research Hospital between March 2019 2021 were retrospectively evaluated. data obtained used 1-year course pandemic In 2-year period, number registrations, distribution by gender, age data, type, procedures performed from software system hospital. Results: average 1 year is approximately 3.5 times next year. When applying evaluated terms it seen that male decreased more than women during period. It has been observed there a dramatic decrease period all treatments. Conclusion: With pandemic, serious patients. However, with ongoing needs normalization processes patients, necessary precautions taken continued.
